When you buy from a corporate at a retail store, you're paying for: the manufacturer's margin, the brand's margin, the distributor's margin, and the retailer's margin. Every hand that touches it before yours adds cost — none of it makes the gear better.

We manufacture and sell direct to you. That's it. One margin, not four.

The money that would have gone to a distributor in Sydney and a shop in Brisbane went into the fabric weight, the reinforcement zones, and the construction instead.

The UCMX range wasn't developed by one person with a vision. It was developed inside a community of riders across different disciplines, different body types, different riding styles, and different levels — from juniors suiting up for their first gate drop to seasoned racers who've worn every brand on the market.

That breadth of feedback is what makes the difference. A fit that only works for one body type isn't a fit — it's a lottery. Ventilation that only performs in mild conditions isn't ventilation — it's a feature on a spec sheet. We kept refining until it worked across the board, not just for the test rider in the promo video.

What came out the other side is gear built on more hours of real feedback than most brands collect in a product lifecycle.

You'll Deal With The Founders. Not A Help Desk.

Ordering gear online from a brand you haven't bought from before is a leap of faith. We know that. So here's exactly what our end of that deal looks like:

If the sizing is off, contact us within 30 days and we'll organise an exchange. We'd rather spend five minutes sorting out a size than have a rider stuck with gear that doesn't fit.

If you have a question before you order — about sizing, brace compatibility, anything — message us and you'll hear back from Josh or Charlie directly, usually same day.

There are two of us running this. We answer our own emails, we pack our own orders, and we have a direct interest in making sure every customer is looked after — because our reputation is built one rider at a time.
